Click on the Advanced option and make sure the Checkmark is present on the “Apply Repair Automatically” option. Just follow the instructions and let the Troubleshooter do its job. After that Restart the PC and then try to open Microsoft Store. Check it’s working properly also try to download apps to make sure there are no more errors.

In the Windows search type Powershell then right-click on Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator. Now type the following in the Powershell and hit enter:

  • Dism /Image:C:\offline /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:c:\test\mount\windows
  • Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:c:\test\mount\windows /LimitAccess

Restart your PC to save the changes and check if the Microsoft Store issue is fixed or not.

Manually Repair Windows Store

  1. First, download this ZIP file by clicking here.
  2. Paste this zip file in C:\Users\Your_Username\Desktop. Note: replace Your_Username with your actual account username.
  3. From the Windows search type Powershell. Right-click and select Run as administrator
  4. Now, type the following commands and hit Enter after each command.
  5. Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted (press Y and Enter if the program asks you to change the execution policy)
  6. cd C:\Users\Your_Username\Desktop (change Your_Username to your actual username).\reinstall-preinstalledApps.ps1 *Microsoft.WindowsStore* 

Manually Repair Microsoft Store

  1. Now again Press Windows Key + R then type “wsreset.exe” and hit enter. to reset the Windows Store Cache.
  2. Now type this command into PowerShell and press Enter: Set-ExecutionPolicy AllSigned
  3. Restart your PC, to save changes.

Create a New User Account in Windows

If all the above methods failed to get back to the windows 10 store, or the Microsoft store still missing on windows 10. Then try to create a new user account, which is a very helpful solution to get the Microsoft store back. To create a new user account open settings and Accounts.

Here find an option called Family and Other People from the left side. At the bottom, there is an option to add someone else to this PC. Click it. Click on the option called I don’t have this person’s sign-in information. Next select Add a user without a Microsoft account at the bottom. The next thing to do is to type in a new username and password of your choice and then click Next.           

Sign in using the newly created account and then check whether your Microsoft Store is working or not. if it works then there was some problem with your old account. Transfer your files from the old account to the new account and delete the old account.
