Disable And Re-enable Network Adapter

Start with basic troubleshooting, first check Modem, Router, and your pc Internet cable are connected properly. Also, try to Re-enable the network / WiFi adapter. To do this click on start menu search and  Type ncpa.cpl and hit the enter key. This will open the Network connections window. Here make sure other network adapters are disabled. If not right click and select Disable. Now select your active Network adapter Right click on it and select disable As shown below image.

 

Now Also Turn off your modem and router. After few minutes start the modem and router and Right click on your active network adapter ( which you disabled before ) and select Enable. Wait till it successfully enables and receives an IP address. Still getting the same problem No internet connection ( wifi does t have a valid ip configuration ) fallow next step.

Make Sure DHCP client service is running on your machine

As This Ethernet / Wifi does t have a valid IP configuration error is caused because your NIC (Network Interface Card) is unable to get a valid IP Address from the DHCP server. So That first make sure DHCP service is running on your machine to Assign or get a valid IP address to your computer. To check This press Win + R On-Run Type services.msc and hit the enter key. This will open the windows services now scroll down and look for the DHCP service. If it’s running simply Right click and select Restart.

Enable DHCP client service

If not started Right click and select start. And make sure it’s set to automatic startup.  Or you can do this by right click -> properties -> change the startup type to automatic. After that simply once restart the windows and check the problem is solved. If not follow the next steps.

Run Internet troubleshooting Command

Type the following commands in the Run box and hit Enter to open the Internet Connections Troubleshooter:

msdt.exe -id NetworkDiagnosticsWeb

Run it and see if it fixes your problem. If not fallow next troubleshooting steps

Reset Winsock Catalog to a Clean State

First, open Open Command Prompt as Administrator. Right click on Windows 10 Start menu and select Command prompt ( admin ). Type following command hit enter to execute the command.

netsh winsock reset

winsock reset Restart your computer and it should fix the issue.

Reinstall the TCP/IP protocol

First, click on windows 10 Start menu search type CMD, Select Command Prompt Right click and Run as Administrator. Now on Administrator Command prompt Type netsh int ip reset command and press enter key to Reset or reinstall the TCP/IP protocol for your windows computer.

Type Regedit in RUN or Start search box and press Enter. It’ll open Registry Editor.Now on Registry windows left pane navigate to following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Nsi\{eb004a00-9b1a-11d4-9123-0050047759bc}\26Here Now right-click on 26 key and select Permissions option. When you click on permission this will open a new window. Select Everyone from the user names list and check enables “Allow” checkbox given for “Full Control” permission. Click on apply and ok to make save changes. simply Close Registry Editor and open Command Prompt as Administrator. Now-Again type netsh int ip reset command to Reinstall the TCP/IP protocol without any deny error.Winsock reset IP reset Next Type IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS And hit the enter key after executing the command Simply restart the Windows to apply all changes. Now Check problem Solved internet-connected Successfully. If still get error fallow next step.

Reconfigure Networking connection setting

Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run the following commands one by one:

netcfg -d

Type ipconfig /release to release the IP address

Next type ipconfig /renew to renew the IP address

when you type ipconfig /flushdns This will flush the DNS cache

To register the DNS type ipconfig /registerdns

After performing all these commands Restart your computer and check it should fix the issue. Still getting Issue Fallow next step.

Assign IP Address Manually

The valid IP configuration issue means the DHCP fails to get a valid IP address from the Network Interface Card. But you can add a valid IP address by yourself. To Assigning IP Address Manually press windows key + R this will open run windows. Now type command ncpa.cpl and hit enter key to open network and sharing center. You can simply right click on network adapter select open network and sharing center.

Here click on the change Adapter setting. Here you will see all network adapters. First, disable other network connections by right click and disable. Now select the active network connection, (which having an unidentified network problem ) Right click on it and click on properties.

 

Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) from the list then select properties. Now Assign IP Address and gateway address. Also on Preferred DNS Type 8.8.8.8 and on Alternet DNS Address type 8.8.4.4

Note: Gateway address is your Router IP address. And Ip address should be on your Router IP address range. For example: If your Router IP address is 192.168.0.1 then type the IP address 192.168.0.xx. Click the tab key this will assign the subnet mask automatically. On gateway address type your router IP address.

That’s all Now click ok to save changes And check your problem solved network connected. If not solve then the next solution.

Update / Reinstall your Network Adapter Driver.

If all of the above methods are unable to fix the problem then maybe there is an issue with your installed network adapter driver. We recommended reinstalling the Network adapter driver.

Before uninstalling the Driver it is recommended that you create a Manual Restore Point on your computer so that you can restore your computer using the restore point in case Windows 10 is unable to reinstall a new Driver and the existing driver gets deleted.

Right Click on Windows 10 Start button and click on Device Manager from the menu that pops up.

On the device Manger Screen, click on Network Adapters to expand the entry. This will list all the network adapters that were installed on your computer.

From the expanded list, right-click on the Network Adapter for your computer and click on Uninstall

You will see a popup warning saying “You are about to uninstall this device from your computer”, click on OK to Uninstall.

Restart your computer, Windows should automatically reinstall the right Driver for the Network Adapter. Or you can download the latest available network adapter driver from manufacturer’s website install it and check.

As mentioned above, in case of a problem you can easily undo the changes on your computer and get back to where you were by restoring your Computer using a Manual System Restore Point that you had created before going ahead with these steps.
